Dr. Tracey DellaVecchia grew up in the Grand Rapids area and graduated from Northview High School.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Zoology/Neurobiology at Michigan State University.  From there she attended University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated in 2003 with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree.  Her dedication to developing her skills and her commitment to public service led her the the United State Navy where she served for 3 years.  She spent 2 years in the oral surgical department handling cases of all levels of difficulty.

After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Dr. DellaVecchia began practicing with Dr. Martin Raebel here in Douglas.  In 2009 Dr. DellaVecchia bought the practice from Dr. Raebel.  Ten years later, she is in her new building having built the practice substantially.  She is a well rounded general practitioner who prides herself on taking the best care of her patients dentally and systemically.  She performs restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry on patients of all ages.  She has focused her practice on oral surgical procedures including placing implants, difficult impacted third molars (wisdom teeth), and emergency treatment.  She also offers I.V. sedation to patients for surgical procedures.

Dr. DellaVecchia is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), the American Dental and Michigan Dental Associations, as well as local dental associations.  She has completed a year-long fellowship course in implantology- the Maxi course through the AAID.  She has completed over 900 credit hours in implantology both clinical and didactic and more importantly, has passed the Board Exam of the American Board of Oral Implantology.  In addition Dr. DellaVecchia has also been certified to provide Intravenous Conscious Sedation (I.V. sedation) and she is ACLS certified.

Personally, Dr. DellaVecchia is married with 2 teenage children, a sweet dog, and sassy cat.  She gets most enjoyment out of watching her kids play sports and cheering for MSU.  She also likes spending quiet time up north.
